For better creative output, get better input
Your PKM system needs to have a creative output. For better creative output, consider better inputs.
What are the sources you are collecting information from? (News, RSS, social media, books, podcasts, etc…) Not all information is created equal. Consider your information inputs and if those sources are in alignment with your goals for output.
Basic Steps of PKM
- Capture ideas and inspiration (make a note about what that idea means to you)
- Look for new connections
- Consistent output (the shortest road to greatness is shipping repeatedly)
The PKM Stack
What is your “PKM Stack”? The apps you use for managing information, ideas, etc…
What apps do you use (intentionally or unintentionally) for managing and organizing:
- Tasks
- New information
- Past information
- Events
- Contacts
- Ideas
- Projects
